About Hans Brakob

Hans Brakob

When you move slow, you notice things that you didn't see when you were in a hurry to "get around the next corner" in life. My outdoor friends call me "Old Slow Hans", and I notice things. In my selections here I try to depict the timeless patience of nature, to cast a focus on the dignity of things that have survived far beyond the flush of pink-cheeked youthfulness, and yes, sometimes to celebrate the transient beauty of a new flower bloom or the tantalizing dance of light and shadow on a striking landscape. The offering here is rather small to start. Bear with me as I sort through my work and share those pieces which are representative of what I'd display in my own home. Come back often to browse new additions. Enjoy. Old Slow...
